GeraldThe world has enough Pokémon content to engulf every waking (and sleeping) hour. And even though Ash has completed his journey as a trainer, a new live-action drama series has emerged to keep the magic going but in a different way.
Partnering with TV Tokyo, Pocket Filled With Adventure, is a brand new TV series premiering 19 October 2023 in Japan.
While we would imagine the show being closer to Detective Pikachu, Pocket Filled With Adventure follows the story of Madoka Akagi (Nanase Nishino) as she rekindles her love with the franchise.
The general outline of the show follows Madoka Akagi as she obtains a her personal copy of Pokémon Red from her mom after moving to Tokoyo. In the show, Akagi works in an advertising company after graduation and experiences Pokémon all over again as an adult.
Sounds a bit too close to real life for many of us.
