Just yesterday, we caught wind of a reveal to happen in early June, and earlier today, we shared 38 confirmed PS5 games leaked via the Official PlayStation Magazine UK. Just moments ago, PlayStation has officially announced an invitation to all for a look at “the future of gaming” on the PS5.
The digital showcase event will take place via Twitch and YouTube on Thursday, 4 June at 1:00pm Pacific Time. That means it’s 5 June at 4:00am in Singapore Time (GMT +8), according to a Facebook post by PlayStation Asia:
Based on the official blog post, it looks like we’ll be taking a first look at the games we’ll be playing when PS5 launches this holiday. The digital showcase will run for slightly more than an hour and it will be the first part in a series of PS5 updates that will follow.
Looks like Sony will be leaving the best for last, having revealed the controller first, followed by the breathtaking tech demo, and soon the games lineup. It’s only a matter of weeks before we’ll finally get to see the console itself.
