Most times, leaks should be taken with a grain of salt, but there are instances where they turn out to be reliable. Just four days after word of a potential Persona 4 Golden PC release got around, Atlus has confirmed on the PC Gaming Show that the JRPG title is indeed heading to PC via Steam.
First released on PlayStation Vita, it was launched as the enhanced version of Persona 4, and promptly became one of the highly-praised games in the series. The PC port does not include any new or different content in story, dialogue, or gameplay, but will come with support for resolutions up to 2560 x 1440, keyboard and mouse play, Steam achievements, and both Japanese and English voice acting.
Persona 4 Golden is now available for purchase at S$23.90. This marks the first time a mainline Persona game has launched outside of the PlayStation platform, and hopefully more will follow suit in due time.
