‘Oshi no Ko’ Season 3 Lands 2026 Anime Premiere

Following the confirmation of Season 3 and its additional voice cast, Oshi no Ko has shared its release window in a new teaser trailer for its next outing. The anime’s third season will hit the airwaves in 2026, with Ruby Hoshino — played by relative newcomer Yurie Igoma — taking centre stage in the 30-second reel.

Joining the character will be joined by the newly announced cast of Hikaru Kamiki and Tsukyomi, voiced by Mamoru Miyano (Bungou Stray DogsDeath Note) and Hina Kino (Buddy DaddiesGenshin Impact), respectively. As before, no story details about Season 3 were revealed, but it’s expected to cover the Mainstay, Scandal, and Movie Arcs if it follows the manga’s pacing.

Studio Doga Kobo is returning to helm the animation, which sees Takeo Otsuka (A Sign of Affection, The Apothecary Diaries) reprising the role of Aquamarine Hoshino, Megumi Han (Hunter x Hunter, Final Fantasy XVI) as Kana Arima, and Manaka Iwami (Zenshu, Genshin Impact) as Akane Kurokawa.

The series also announced its first puzzle game, although further information remains sparse. Launched in April 2020, the original manga was written by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari, before concluding with 166 chapters last November. It received an anime adaptation in 2023, with the second season premiering in July 2024 and gaining widespread attention through Japanese super duo Yoasobi’s popular opening, “Idol”. A live-action film and TV series adaptation followed at the end of last year.
