‘Octopath Traveler II’ Demo Available On All Platforms Ahead Of Feb 24 Launch

With Square Enix set to make 2023 a big year for roleplaying games, especially with the launch of Final Fantasy XVI coming up in June, fans of the genre are certainly going to be busy. However, before even all that, there is still the tantalising morsel that is Acquire Corp‘s Octopath Traveler II, and the great news is that a demo is now available alongside its final trailer.

Available on all platforms, which includes PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, the Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam (10 February), eager fans can enjoy the Octopath Traveler II Prologue Demo for up to three hours, and you even get to choose any of the eight protagonists to kick things off.

While demos will provide a taste of what is to come, this early Octopath Traveler II experience goes one step further by allowing the save data from the demo to be carried over to the full game. So make those decisions count as you step into the world of Solistia.

That signature HD-2D graphics are back and looking better than ever, especially with the day/night cycle that is now implemented in the game. The developers have also made sure to enhance the party cohesion mechanics and elements so that the eight different stories will have a greater impact on the overall plot.

In any case, with the demo for Octopath Traveler II now out, players can see for themselves just what the fuss is all about. Whether you are coming back for a second time around, or taking your tentative first steps into the series, this new title should be a great place to dive in and enjoy another RPG offering from Square Enix.
