Nicki Minaj To Unleash Super Bass In Call of Duty Season 5

Activision has revealed an exciting addition for Call of Duty fans — the popular rapper Nicki Minaj is set to join the ranks as an Operator in both Warzone and Modern Warfare II. While the franchise has previously featured real-life celebrities like Snoop Dogg, Lionel Messi, and Kevin Durant, Nicki’s inclusion marks a significant milestone as the the franchise’s first “self-named female Operator”.

In a special in-game celebration of the 50th anniversary of hip-hop, Nicki Minaj will be joining forces with Snoop Dogg and 21 Savage, bringing an unparalleled fusion of music and firepower to the battlefield. However, the developers are quick to clarify that players won’t be experiencing “Chill Nicki” in the game; instead, they’ll be encountering the fierce persona of “Red Ruby Da Sleeze” from one of her recent music videos.

During season 5 of Warzone and Modern Warfare II, fans can look forward to a unique store bundle dedicated to the rap sensation herself. Knowing Nicki’s style, it wouldn’t be a surprise to find a Barbie-pink assault rifle as part of her personalised package, staying true to yet another of the rapper’s various alter egos, “The Harajuku Barbie.”

What’s more, players will also receive free war track packs, treating their in-game vehicle radios to iconic hip-hop tunes. Logging in four times between August 7 and August 16 grants access to a nostalgic collection of songs from the ’80s, ’90s, and 2000s. On the fourth login, players will receive a special weapon blueprint, adding to the excitement of the celebration.

While the opportunity to play as Snoop Dogg, Nicki Minaj, or 21 Savage is an enticing prospect, it’s worth noting that their respective bundles won’t be free. The exact cost remains a mystery for now, but fans of these iconic rappers will want to stay tuned so that they don’t miss out on this musically-charged addition to the Call of Duty universe.
