If there’s any footwear brand that knows how to pull off a collab with a popular Japanese anime, it has to be Skechers. Recently, it revealed that it will be bringing the limited-edition Skechers X Sailor Moon Collection to Singapore at all Skechers stores islandwide on 20 January, 2020.
The colour palettes of these Skechers D’Lites Airy 2.0 sneakers are based on the colour auras iconic members of the Sailor Guardians, which will no doubt make fans of the beloved series squeal with delight.
Aside from the colours, there are additional details that pay homage to each Sailor Guardian as a nice touch, such as satin bow laces, as well as the symbols for each character.
The Skechers X Sailor Moon D’Lites Airy 2.0 sneakers will retail for S$159 each.
But that’s not all Skechers will be doing with the collab. There will also be Skechers X Sailor Moon tops featuring artwork of the various Sailor Moon characters, including hoodies (S$89 each), pullovers (S$79 each), and T-shirts (S$39 each).
Finally, as a promotion, those who purchase a minimum of one pair of Skechers X Sailor Moon sneakers and one other pair of regular-priced footwear will receive a collectible umbrella featuring the collab logo, as well as a silhouette of Sailor Moon a.k.a Usagi Tsukino.
