New Halloween Kills Trailer Sees Brutal Michael Myers Ready To Paint The Town Red

The trailer to Halloween Kills finally dropped and it sees Michael Myers (Nick Castle) slashing his way through town, leaving a trail of dismembered bodies leading to his childhood home.

The trailer picks up right where David Gordon’s Halloween starts, the burning home of Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) who yes if you haven’t watched the 2018 film, has been retconned.

Michael sets loose on a team of firefighters called to clear out the fire and escapes death, yet again. The trailer is long, brutal and features a few Easter eggs and interesting moves including Laurie back in Haddonfield Memorial Hospital again.

The official synopsis for Halloween Kills reads:

“Minutes after Laurie Strode, her daughter Karen (Judy Greer) and granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) left masked monster Michael Myers caged and burning in Laurie’s basement, Laurie is rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, believing she finally killed her lifelong tormentor. But when Michael manages to free himself from Laurie’s trap, his ritual bloodbath resumes. As Laurie fights her pain and prepares to defend herself against him, she inspires all of Haddonfield to rise up against their unstoppable monster. The Strode women join a group of other survivors of Michael’s first rampage who decide to take matters into their own hands, forming a vigilante mob that sets out to hunt Michael down, once and for all.”

Currently, Halloween Kills is scheduled to release on 15 October 2021.
