‘Monster Hunter Wilds’ Marks Playable Demo SEA Debut At Gamescom Asia 2024

Ahead of Gamescom Asia 2024, happening on 17 to 20 October, Capcom has just released their full line-up, and fans are in for a treat. Here’s a rundown of everything available on the show floor:


1) Monster Hunter Wilds Playable Demo

For the first time in Southeast Asia, a playable demo will be available for the highly anticipated Monster Hunter Wilds, which will be releasing in 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Catch a glimpse of locations with dynamically changing climates, and hunt monstrous beasts with 14 iconic weapon types from the series, each with its own unique playstyle. 


2) Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster

Step into the shoes of photojournalist Frank West (He’s covered wars, ya know.) and dive into the zombie-slaying mayhem of Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, the 2006 classic now rebuilt with Capcom’s RE ENGINE. Return to the Willamette Parkview Mall and face the zombie hordes with a revamped combat system, tons of weapons and over-the-top costumes, all while battling a ticking clock.


3) MARVEL vs. CAPCOM Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics

Celebrate the legacy of fighting games with MARVEL vs. CAPCOM Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics, a compilation of seven beloved games including:

  • X-MEN CHILDREN OF THE ATOM
  • MARVEL SUPER HEROES
  • MARVEL vs. CAPCOM CLASH OF SUPER HEROES
  • MARVEL vs. CAPCOM 2 New Age of Heroes
  • MARVEL SUPER HEROES vs. STREET FIGHTER
  • X-MEN vs. STREET FIGHTER
  • THE PUNISHER

4) Terry Bogard Joins Street Fighter 6

Get hands-on experience with Street Fighter 6’s newest guest fighter, Terry Bogard from SNK’s Fatal Fury series. Try out the moveset of the Legendary Hungry Wolf, available for purchase individually or through the Year 2 Character Pass or Ultimate Pass.


5) Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess

Immerse yourself in a unique blend of tower defense and Kagura action with Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess. Join Soh and the Maiden of the mountain, Yoshiro, on their mission to restore peace to Mt. Kafuku.


6) CAPCOM Pro Tour 2024 SUPER PREMIER SINGAPORE

Taking place on the show floor from 18 to 20 October, join Street Fighter 6 players from across the globe as they compete to qualify for Japan’s CAPCOM CUP 11. The top two players who reach the grand finals will each be guaranteed a spot and given the chance to win the coveted US$1 Million grand prize.
