Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup Returns Online With US$150,000 Prize Pool

The esports scene in Southeast Asia is ready to welcome some fierce competition, as the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup (MSC) returns this year with an online format. Featuring a total of 12 teams from Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, and Vietnam, the tournament offers a US$150,000 prize pool, and will include in-game activities, mini-events, and special guests.

This marks the first time that the regional championship is heading online, with the official website hosting various initiatives for fans. Former professional Mobile Legends players are expected to grace the event, which will also introduce time-limited game skins from 29 May to 13 June 2021.

MSC 2021, meanwhile, is set to take place from 7 June to 13 June 2021. Returning as the organising party is global video game company MOONTON Games, who will be working closely with local esports associations and teams to host a safe competition venue and professional gaming set-up for players.
