Microsoft Adds FPS Boost To 13 EA Play Games On The Xbox Series X

Microsoft has announced additional 13 EA Play games can now support FPS Boost on Xbox Series X|S console. Some of these FPS-boosted titles even support 120Hz including Star Wars: Battlefront, Titanfall 2, Battlefield V and more.

Most of these boosted titles originally ran at 60FPS on Xbox One and Xbox One X like Star Wars Battlefront II and Battlefield 4, with FPS Boost, the framerate doubles so you can enjoy some blasting on Tatooine or the Gulf of Oman in buttery smooth 120 FPS.

Here are the 13 new EA Play games that support FPS Boost:

  • Battlefield 1
  • Battlefield 4
  • Battlefield V
  • Mirror’s Edge Catalyst
  • Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare
  • Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville
  • Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2
  • Sea of Solitude
  • Star Wars Battlefront
  • Star Wars Battlefront II
  • Titanfall
  • Titanfall 2
  • Unravel 2

The games might require you to activate the FPS Boost via Xbox’s compatibility settings as some of them decreased their resolution to return better frame rates.

The FPS Boost feature was launched back in February 2021 and has been giving older games a new touch of better visuals and gaming experience. This ties in really nicely with the Xbox Game Pass where there’s a rich library of content for gamers to check out.
