Michael B. Jordan Inspires Greatness In ‘Creed III’ IMAX Behind-The-Scenes Feature

Creed III marks actor Michael B. Jordan‘s directorial debut, and he’s going all out.

In an IMAX Behind-the-Scenes First Look, Jordan shares his emotional journey inhabiting the character of Adonis Creed. By stepping into the director’s chair, he hopes to push past his limits and “elevate and evolve [Creed’s] story.”

As director, Jordan is looking to imbue Creed III with a more personal story. The film will follow Creed as he attempts to welcome his childhood friend Damian Anderson (played by Jonathan Majors) — who spent nearly two decades in prison — back into his life, only to be met with hostility. Naturally, there’s no choice but to sort things out in the ring.

According to Jordan, “This is the first sports film to be shot on IMAX cameras.” He promises a truly immersive experience as audiences will be able to see, hear, and feel every thrilling detail.

“I hope audiences walk away feeling inspired, and have the courage to do something that you normally wouldn’t do,” says Jordan. “I want people to walk away from this movie feeling better than they did when they walked in. I think that’s something that’s powerful about cinema.”

Boasting a story from Ryan Coogler, the film also stars Tessa Thompson, Wood Harris, Florian Munteanu, and Phylicia Rashad.

Creed III will hit the big screen on 3 March 2023.
