Spidey’s not going to have an easy time in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. The long-awaited sequel from Insomniac Games will bring the Rogues’ Gallery along for the ride, and it’s up to Peter Parker and Miles Morales to take them down — starting from Kraven the Hunter.
In anticipation of their arrival, the studio has dropped a closer glimpse of Venom, Kraven the Hunter, and Lizard, which looks to set up an epic showdown between the beloved web-slingers and the big bad. The box art images, revealed on X, are joined by a high-definition look at what could be a villain in a black Spidey suit, following a new visual reveal of Peter Parker and Miles Morales in their respective suits.
There’s plenty to be excited about Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. Not only did a trailer released in July tease a generous spread of action-packed gameplay — all while showing Venom off in all his deliciously villainous glory — but the game will also mark Kraven and Lizard’s debut in Insomniac’s Spider-Man universe.
Most recently, the symbiote became a hot discussion topic after PlayStation offered fans “19 inches of Venom”, referring to the statue included in the Collector’s Edition. A limited-edition PS5 console bundle, available now for S$949, was announced as part of the celebratory plans as well. For those who already own the PS5, the Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 console covers and DualSense controller (S$114) are sold separately for grabs.
