A new cosy game, Tales of the Shire, tells a different story in the Lord of the Rings universe, one where you help maintain the peaceful village of Bywater in an Animal Crossing-esque life simulation.
Of course, you can’t miss Second Breakfast, and a cooking feature will let you recreate recipes from the series, after harvesting resources, which can be used to level up friendship bonds with characters.
You’ll also get to explore Bywater’s secret glades and lost treasures alongside the cosy vibes, and a weather mechanic will bring plenty of surprises depending on the in-game seasons. Bring the community together to achieve village status in Bywater, and transform your village into a vibrant haven.
Tales of the Shire is set to release on Steam, PS5, and the Xbox Series X|S sometime this year, so keep a lookout for this cosy game!
