Leaks Of Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra & Galaxy Buds Live Suggest August Reveal

These days, it should come as no surprise that the latest smartphones and their respective peripherals get leaked months before its actual reveal. After all, any publicity is good publicity for the brand, whether they like it or not, and only serves to stir up the hype, especially if it’s a long-anticipated product.

In this case, images of the new Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra have been circulating the Internet recently, and it’s shaping up to be quite the classy new entry. According to the likes of Tech Radar and GSM Arena, the Korean tech giant’s new flagship smartphone looks poised for a reveal during the upcoming Samsung Unpacked virtual event on 5 August.

The images above suggest that the sequel to the Galaxy Note 10 could release in a “Mystic Bronze” colourway, which is a callback to the “Metallic Copper” colour that was on the Galaxy Note 9. While the specs have yet to be revealed, we can see a triple-lens camera system on the rear, as well as what looks to be a time-of-flight sensor.

A similarly-coloured S Pen has also been included, though we have yet to confirm whether this is a new iteration of the peripheral, or just a shiny new colourway.

But that’s not all that was leaked — the bean-shaped Samsung Galaxy Buds Live truly wireless earbuds has also been leaked over the past few months.

The latest iteration of these (again, via GSM Arena) also sport a bronze colour similar to the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, alongside the white and black colours that were previously leaked (below).

While we’re still unsure of its exact specifications and features, we won’t be surprised if the Galaxy Buds Live could be unveiled alongside the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra during the Samsung Unpacked event this August. Whether these new earbuds are straight up replacements for the Samsung Galaxy Buds+ remain to be seen.

We’re still unsure just what else could appear during the Unpacked event, but XDA Developers writer Max Weinbach reports that the direct successor to last year’s Samsung Galaxy Fold is very likely to not be revealed then. However, it might be more likely that a 5G version of the Galaxy Flip Z could be unveiled.
