Kojima Productions Confirms A New Project Is In Development

Hideo Kojima’s studio Kojima Productions, the very same one that brought us the cinematic masterpiece Death Stranding, has revealed that a new project is in development, though little is currently known about the project.

Kojima Productions first broke the news on its official Twitter account, where it announced that the studio is currently looking to hire new talents for a new project, with the new hires working out of the company’s Tokyo studio.

On the company’s career page, there are more than 25 job listings available, with the studio looking to hire for everything from writers to programmers. Unfortunately for some, all the jobs on the site require applicants to be fluent in Japanese.

Though not much else is revealed about the upcoming project, a listing for a network programmer hints at the possibility of an online or multiplayer game. Could this perhaps be the horror game that Kojima has been teasing for a long while? Or the mysterious Death Stranding game Kojima previously tweeted about?

Or maybe even – God forbid – the potential Metal Gear Solid remake as part of some reunion with Konami (though we know the latter part is probably almost impossible)? We’ll just have to wait and see.

As the company is still hiring, it’ll probably be a while before we receive any solid updates on the project but with the studios’ track record for breathtaking cinematic gameplay experiences, we know to expect only good things from them.
