Following in the footsteps of Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition, Sony will continue to bring Aloy’s adventures over to PC… or so reliable Dealabs leaker billbil-kun reports (via VGC). Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition is slated for both a PC and PlayStation 5 release within the next month, though there’s no official word just yet.
In fact, the game itself hasn’t even been announced. A now-pulled listing on Singapore’s ratings board was the only indication of its existence, which reportedly bundles the main title and its Burning Shores expansion. While Horizon Forbidden West launched on PS5 and PS4, the latter was a PS5 exclusive.
The sequel was released in February 2022, serving as a continuation of Aloy’s quest to journey into the frontier region known as the Forbidden West, and find the mysterious plague that kills all it infects. Guerrilla Games dropped the DLC in April this year, offering players an attractive incentive to explore the world yet again.
Moving forward, there’s plenty to expect from the franchise’s future. The studio is currently working on more projects involving the IP, stating that it’ll be around “for a very long while.” Apart from a multiplayer title and a full-blown sequel to Horizon Forbidden West, other notable projects include a TV series adaptation for Netflix, helmed by Umbrella Academy showrunner Steve Blackman.
