With a good 8 months more to go to the release of Homeworld 3 in June 2023, Homeworld fans can now travel to the Nimbus galaxy and begin their journey in exploring this new frontier. After a few months of beta, Homeworld Mobile, a free-to-play 3D real-time strategy MMO is finally launched globally on iOS and Android devices.
Over a century since the original exodus and rediscovery of their Homeworld, the Hiigarans now look beyond their galaxy to explore and settle an uncharted universe through the Hyperspace Gates. Engage upon truly dynamic real-time strategy and combat as you control spaceship carriers, interceptors, and destroyers to outmaneuver opponents and employ tactics to gain the upper hand.
According to the developer, while optional in-game purchases are available, these items are not required for progression and do not affect your ability to succeed or progress in the game. The intent is to enable optional purchases that aren’t required to be competitive. That’s good news!
