2022 is the 40th anniversary of the G.I. Joe franchise, and in Hasbro’s latest creation in its line of Transformers Collaborative figures is Megatron disguised as a Cobra H.I.S.S. Tank, along with the Baroness (yay!).
The Megatron H.I.S.S. Tank toy converts from robot to tank mode in 28 steps and comes with a G.I. Joe retro Baroness figure. It is accurate scale to the 1983 H.I.S.S. tank toy and the Baroness figure comes on a card back with file card. The packaging is inspired by the classic ’80s Transformers and G.I. Joe toy packaging with awesome retro artwork.
This is probably a one-off, similar to X-Men, Top Gun, Jurassic Park and Back to the Future previously, but one can only hope we get an Optimus Prime disguised as who-knows-what, along with a Snake Eyes figure.
The Transformers Collaborative: G.I. Joe Mash-Up, Megatron H.I.S.S. Tank and Baroness is currently sold out on pre-orders via HasbroPulse.com already but collectors shouldn’t worry as this should be made available at a later date in markets outside of the U.S.
Passion and love mean little to the Baroness. No man can ever be her master. Where there’s terror to be sown and coin earned, that’s where she will be with guns akimbo.
