For Mobile Suit Gundam’s 40th Anniversary Collaboration Project with Owndays, a collection of four Owndays Snap frames has been launched on January 6th, exclusively at the Owndays Jewel Changi outlet. These frames are based on the mobile suit motifs of Gundam, Char’s Zaku II, Zaku II and Dom.
Each frame retails at S$198, and comes with an exclusive spectacle case and cleaning cloth, in theme with the respective mobile suit.
Made of lightweight stainless steel, the frames are treated with a matte coating to give them an added premium touch. Each frame can be converted into sunglasses using a coloured snap-on magnetic lens called Snap Lens.
For the most hardcore of Gundam fans, there is also a S$580 head case launching in early March 2020. There will only be 50 units available in Singapore, and pre-orders start on January 10th.
