Performance matters in all areas of gaming. As technology continues to grow, brands are constantly upgrading their builds to keep up with the competition, and that means adopting the latest trend in the industry. With the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 Series GPUs increasingly becoming a norm, Singapore hardware and PC manufacturer Gigabyte has upgraded its Aero creator and Aorus pro-gaming series to run on NVIDIA’s latest technology.
The family of laptops, which include the Aorus 17G, Aorus 15G, and Aorus 15P, and the Aero 17, Aero 17, Aero 15, and Aero 15 OLED, will offer accelerated performance, doubled energy efficiency, improved cooling, and third-party Max-Q technologies for thin and lightweight designs. Ray-traced gaming experiences and GPU-accelerated apps are available as well.
Both the Aero and Aorus line-up are outfitted with an advanced thermal system for increased thermal headroom and better graphic performance. Microsoft’s Azure AI technology, meanwhile, allocates extra power to the CPU and GPU based on different task requirements for a five per cent increase in performance boost while gaming or working on content creation. Ushering in the world’s first Xrite Pantone color-calibrated OLED displays, the Aero 15 OLED stands out with its 100 per cent DCI-P3 colour gamut and VESA Display HDR 400 True Black combo that delivers a wider colour range, deeper blacks, and sharper details.
On the note of gaming, the Aorus models will offer a refresh rate of 300Hz to reduce on-screen tearing and ghosting. For fans of the mechanical keyboard, the Aorus 17G boasts OMRON key switches for crisp feedback and a tactile feel, so you can find comfort in the click-clack of keys during gameplay.
The laptops also boast several port options, including an HDMI 2.1 output, a mini Display Port, a Thunderbolt 3 port, and a UHS-II SD card reader. Pre-orders are available now on Gigabyte’s official website, with each model priced as follows:
