Giant Spear Of Longinus From Evangelion Strikes Tokyo Skytree

The massive Spear of Longinus from the Evangelion anime has struck from the skies and this time, it lands at the Tokyo Skytree, in Japan.

The Spear of Longinus is a prominent extraterrestrial artifact or weapon with god-like powers in the anime. Hyping up the release of the animation Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time, the Spear installation is not the only promotional installations that fans can catch around Tokyo Skytree as the EVA Unit-01 can also be found busting through the high floors of the beautiful tower.

Additionally, those in Tokyo can also catch a glimpse of its thematic lighting based on the different units of the anime.

The fanfare for the animation is nigh, they’ve even collaborated with our favourite kaiju in this Mechagodzilla mash-up model kit.

The animation Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time was released in Japan 8 March.
