Geek Giveaway: Thrustmaster Racing Wheel & Ferrari Gaming Headset – The Best Tools For Playing Project CARS 3

Slightly Mad Studios’ upcoming racing sim Project CARS 3 is shaping up to be another massive leap forward for the genre. Aside from snazzy new graphics, it more importantly comes with a robust gameplay system that is accessible enough for new players to come to grips with its ins and outs, while still being complex enough for seasoned racing sim players to dive deep into.

But while one can certainly enjoy success on Project CARS 3 on their controller or (god forbid) a keyboard and mouse, it’s always optimal to play any racing sim using dedicated gear. As such, we’re doing a giveaway for a Thrustmaster TMX Force Feedback Racing Wheel (worth S$913) as well as a Thrustmaster T. Racing Scuderia Ferrari Edition Gaming Headset (worth S$234) to a couple of lucky folks who are keen on getting their feet wet with Project CARS 3 and other similar titles!

The Thrustmaster TMX Force Feedback Racing Wheel (only for PC and Xbox One) is ideal for racing sims such as Project CARS 3 because, well, it’s a dedicated steering wheel. Its 900° rotation angle (adjustable from 270°) allows for the most precise control when steering. It also comes with a pair of wheel-mounted sequential paddle shifters for extra brake control as well.

Additionally, it comes with the standard ABXY buttons and D-pad as seen on the Xbox One controller, and works just fine on the PC too.

If you’re in need of a more immersive gameplay experience on Project CARS 3, the Thrustmaster T. Racing Scuderia Ferrari Edition Gaming Headset (compatible with PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch) will go a long way for you. Aside from bearing the Ferrari branding, this audio peripheral is actually a really solid addition to any gaming rig, providing quality comfort thanks to 25mm-thick memory foam cushions with a gel layer for those long endurance races.

More importantly, it comes equipped with massive 50mm analytic drivers which put out really crisp and well-balanced audio. And of course, since you’ll most likely be racing online, it comes with a unidirectional microphone that targets just your voice, so your teammates and opponents can hear you loud and clear over the blaring engines of cars racing in the background.

And guess what — two lucky winners will stand a chance to walk away with either of these peripherals to get all geared up for Project CARS 3! If you’re keen, all you need to do is read up on our two latest articles on Project CARS 3 (links in the giveaway questions below), and then pick which of the peripherals you’d like to walk home with.

Good luck and happy racing!
