A director has yet to be confirmed but Tom Harper of Peaky Blinders and The Aeronauts fame is currently in talks to direct.

David Ellison, Don Granger, and Dana Goldberg from Skydance Media will be producing the film with Gadot and her Pilot Wave producing partners Jaron Varsano, Bonnie Curtis, and Julie Lynn.

As of now, Skydance is still keeping its option open as to whether to have the film be released theatrically or on streaming platforms.

Deadline also reports that Gadot has signed an eight-figure deal for the lead role in Heart of Stone, putting her in the upper levels of the actress salary scale. With how competent Gadot has shown she is as an action star, it is little wonder that she has secured such as a good deal with Skydance Media.

A release date for Heart of Stone has yet to be announced but you can first catch her on the upcoming Wonder Woman sequel, Wonder Woman 1984 which will be hitting theatres and HBO Max on 25 December.
