Epic Games Store started a series of weekly free “epic” game downloads to coincide with their Epic Mega Sale from 14 May to 11 June, and since then, it has set the gold standard of what a real giveaway is and can be. The game giveaways kicked off on 14 May with Grand Theft Auto V, followed by Sid Meier’s Civilization VI, and more recently, Borderlands: The Handsome Collection.
Now, no one is supposed to know what each free game is, but leaks happen and based on how accurate the leak was, we will most definitely be getting ARK: Survival Evolved on 4 June as the fourth mystery game.
But looking at how the Epic Mega Sale is ending on 11 June, it seems to be just right to slot in a 5th and final free game as a grand finale. There have been rumours and speculation floating around that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Game of the Year Edition would be one of the mystery games. So it would make sense for it to land as the 5th and final one on 11 June.
