2020 has really been quite the brutal year. The latest misfortune to have struck the entertainment industry is Dwayne Johnson testing positive for COVID-19.
The 48-year-old Fast & Furious actor took to social media to announce his diagnosis, also revealing that not only he was tested positive for the coronavirus, but also his wife Lauren Hashian, and their two young daughters.
“I can tell you that this has been one of the most challenging and difficult things we have ever had to endure as a family, and for me, personally, as well. And I’ve gone through some doozies in the past,” said Johnson. “Testing positive for COVID-19 is much different than overcoming nasty injuries, or being evicted or even being broke, which I have been more than a few times.”
Despite being diagnosed with COVID-19, Johnson, who was also in the process of filming the upcoming Black Adam movie with Warner Bros., reassured fans that he and his family are “healthy” and “no longer contagious”. That said, however, they will continue to remain in quarantine for the time being.
Other Hollywood actors that have been tested positive for the coronavirus over the course of 2020 include Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson, Idris Elba, Kristofer Hivju, and Antonio Banderas, just to name a few.
Marion has a serious RPG addiction. Sometimes it bleeds into real life; he forgets to sleep because he thinks he has a Witcher’s body clock. Forgive him in advance if he suddenly blurts out terms such as “Mind Flayer” and “Magic Missile”, because never once does he stop thinking about his next Dungeons & Dragons game.
