Dune: Part 2 is set directly after the events of the first movie, which saw House Harkonnen seize the spice-rich desert planet of Arrakis from the House Atreides. Exiled to the desert, Lady Jessica (Rebecca Ferguson) and her son Paul Atreides (Timothée Chalamet) attempt to forge new lives alongside the nomadic Fremen.

Under the tutelage of Fremen chieftan Stilgar (Javier Bardem), Paul will undergo training to fulfil the prophecy and become Muad’Dib of the Fremen. In the process, he reunites with his once lost friend Gurney Halleck (Josh Brolin), and grows closer to Fremen warrior, Chani (Zendaya).

Fans will be closely eyeing Paul fulfil his destiny and bring peace to Arrakis, eliminating the Harkonnen threat once and for all.

Timothée Chalamet stars as Paul Atreides, the exiled Duke of House Atreides.

Originally set for a release in November, the sequel was delayed to mid-March 2024 as a result of the SAG-AFTRA strike. At the conclusion of the strikes, it was confirmed that Dune: Part 2 will be released slightly earlier, hitting silver screens come 1 March 2024.
