Following its release on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on 23 May, TT Games’ Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight will finally be heading to the Nintendo Switch 2 in September, with its release on the hybrid console coinciding with the game’s first DLC, the Mayhem Collection.
Announced via a release date trailer for its Nintendo Switch 2 version, Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is now available for pre-orders on the Nintendo EShop, and will soon allow players to build up the legacy of the Caped Crusader on the go. The game’s launch also adds to the already stacked line-up for September, thanks to multiple games like Marvel’s Wolverine, Control Resonant, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, and Silent Hill Townfall, making it a truly glorious month for gamers.
In addition, the game will also be receiving its first piece of DLC on the same day, titled the Mayhem Collection. Packaged together with the game’s Deluxe Edition, the DLC will offer a new Mayhem mode featuring The Joker and Harley Quinn as playable characters, both with their own abilities, gadgets, and takedowns, alongside a new story mission which sees the pair breaking out of Arkham Asylum and causing chaos on the streets of Gotham City. Additionally, the DLC will also include the Sinister Pack, which comprises seven new suits, one for each of the base game’s playable characters, five new Batcave items, and one new Batmobile.

Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight’s Mayhem Collection DLC will launch on 18 September 2026 alongside the game’s release on the Nintendo Switch 2.
