Disney Titles are Now Available on Netflix Singapore!

When news broke earlier that Disney titles will be coming to Netflix, fans cried out in great joy. It wasn’t just animation being added to the streaming service’s impressive library, but also the likes of heavy hitters such as The Avengers and Star Wars: The Force Awakens (which is the sole Star Wars flick at the moment).

Needless to say, the move was certainly welcomed – but as usual, audiences in the US were first entitled to the enjoyment born out of this arrangement. Other markets either lagged behind or lacked this nifty addition, of which Singapore belongs to the latter category.

In the latest development of events, it seems users in Singapore have finally gotten viewing access to said Disney films on Netflix. The exact date of when they were put up is unknown, though we are hedging our bets on it being March 1, 2018.

According to the What’s New on Netflix Singapore website, other well-known flicks include The Lion King, Iron Man, and the Toy Story franchise.

While this comes as exciting news, it’s also a little too late to the party. With plans to pull out their works from the popular streaming service in 2019 to start a new one under the Disney name, local audiences will only have about a year or so to enjoy the current content.

But hey, better late than ever, right?
