‘Demon Slayer’ Adapts Hashira Training Arc For Season 4

The third season of Demon Slayer has come to a close, but it seems fans won’t have to wait long before diving back into Tanjiro and gang’s adventures. Following the 11th and final episode of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc, a new announcement trailer for Season 4 has dropped, and it’s set to adapt the Hashira Training Arc from the manga.

The news was accompanied by new character posters illustrated by Akira Matsuhima, character designer and chief animation designer at ufotable. No other details, including a release date, were unveiled, and it’s unclear how many episodes there will be. Going by its eight-chapter run in the manga, Demon Slayer Season 4 is likely to feature original content or stretch into the concluding arc, the Final Battle Arc, which is split into two parts. Matsushima, ufotable, director Haruo Sotozaki, and the main cast will all be returning for the new arc.

The anime first debuted in April 2019, and was followed by the Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train movie in October 2020.
