While the launch of Cyberpunk 2077 was much maligned on any other platform outside of the PC, its hype still managed to break records.
Based on insights from Superdata, Cyberpunk 2077 managed to sell a total of 10.2 million copies on the PC. And we’re certain those earnings should be prompted reinvested to repair CD Projekt Red’s reputation.
Guess the lesson here is probably not to release a game on consoles older than 8 years on the PS4 and Xbox One.
In our books, the game was one of the best in 2020. However, by now we all know that PC is the way to go.
If anything, could PC gamers expect to see more exclusives? One can only hope.
