CD Projekt Red Promises No More Delays For Cyberpunk 2077

After being delayed again and again, fans can now rest assured knowing that CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 is already in its final stretch of development and is expected to not face any further delays with regards to its release date.

This confirmation came from CDPR’s CFO Piotr Nielubowicz who stated in a video recapping the company’s first-half of fiscal year 2020 that “When we meet again in this format, Cyberpunk 2077 will have already been released.”

CDPR releases such videos at the end of each quarter, meaning that the next video by the company is scheduled to release in December. That is well after Cyberpunk 2077’s scheduled release date of 19 November 2020.

Of course who knows what major delays might happen between now and then so it is still too early to say if Cyberpunk 2077 will definitely be released on schedule this time. But at least we have a promise by the game’s developers which they will hopefully make happen.

Nielubowicz also mentioned in the video that the team at CDPR is working from home and will continue to do so at least until December.

Cyberpunk 2077 will release on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia.
