Pokémon fans, get ready to catch all those trading cards! McDonald’s Singapore is releasing the exclusive Pokémon Match Battle Happy Meal for a limited time only.
Coming shaped as the beloved Pikachu, the newly announced Happy Meal will come with official Pokémon Match Battle trading cards, a card flip coin and instructions – everything needed to stage an at-home Pokémon Match Battle.
There are a total of 10 types of Pokémon Match Battle games up for grabs including Pikachu, Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly. A new pair of card packs will be released every Thursday at 11am for five weeks from 26 October. The limited-edition Happy Meals will be available across McDonald’s restaurants islandwide and via McDelivery, GrabFood and foodpanda, while stocks last.
Given how crazy the turnout was for the limited-edition Pokémon cards at the Van Gogh Museum – to the extent the museum withdrew the cards entirely – one can hope that Singaporeans will be much more considerate.
Additionally, McDonald’s is also releasing a new Breakfast McSaver Meal – the Chicken Bacon and Egg McMuffin for S$5.50. This meal is also for a limited time only.
