Fans eagerly awaiting for more news on Blizzard’s Overwatch 2 need only wait a few more months, as Overwatch’s director Jeff Kaplan has confirmed that updates for the game will be announced during BlizzCon Online in February 2021.
News of Overwatch 2’s update came during Blizzard’s latest developer update where Kaplan confirmed that fans will get to learn more about the upcoming Overwatch sequel at BlizzCon Online.
The two-day virtual event happening on 19 – 20 February 2021 was announced by Blizzard as a substitute for the physical BlizzCon event that was unfortunately cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Aside from teasing more updates on Overwatch 2, Kaplan also announced a new free-for-all map on Overwatch, Kanezaka. It is currently available on the PTR. Overwatch’s Winter Wonderland 2020 event is also currently ongoing till 5 January.
