Gearing Up For Battlefield 2042? NVIDIA’s RTX 3070 Ti Is The GPU Of Our Choice

Getting a brand new PC is always a milestone in our lives. Building a new rig, more often than not, tends to be linked to a major game release.

In 2021, the game many folks are hyping about has to be Battlefield 2042. However, with the prices of PC components on the high side, we found a sweet spot that will allow you to play BF2042 with minimal hiccups.

Testing out the following rig on the recent Battlefield 2042 Open Beta, this ASUS TUF Gaming build was certainly up to the task:

  • Motherboard: TUF Gaming B550M-E
  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X 6-Core Processor
  • GPU: ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3070 Ti OC Edition
  • RAM: 16GB DDR4 G.Skill Trident Z (2133MHz)

Do check out our video above to see the rig in action. Considering that this is only the open beta, we can expect performance to improve on full release.

While most folks might want to go for broke and grab an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 or higher, unless you’re gunning for 4K gaming, the 3070 is more than enough.

If you’re looking to really pimp out your rig from end to end, this ASUS combination is one to gun for once you’ve secured the funding.
