It looks like we may actually be able to jump into Assassin’s Creed Valhalla sooner than we’d imagined, thanks to a leak spotted in the depths of Reddit.
In the post by u/Reqqu (via PushSquare), it was revealed that their local game store “added Assassin’s Creed Valhalla up for pre-order”, with the release date tagged as 16 October 2020. However, the date was since taken down, though before the poster took screenshots. Though no exact visuals were depicted, a moderator on the Subreddit commented on the thread confirming the evidence.
If this is indeed true, then it is in line with the games industry’s usually packed end-of-year release schedule, with it releasing weeks after the likes of Cyberpunk 2077 and Marvel’s Avengers, just to name a few.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is slated to release on PS4, Xbox One, PC, Google Stadia, and the upcoming PS5 and Xbox Series X.
