Hone Your Portrait Photography Skills With The Affordable Oppo Reno11 Pro 5G

It’s been estimated that over 200 million telephoto lens-equipped smartphones were sold globally in 2022, and that figure is expected to increase significantly in 2023, which means that the figure will only increase further this year, fueled by consumers and their growing desire for high quality zoom capabilities, without the loss of image quality and portrait capabilities that were previously the domain of professional cameras.

Oppo Reno11 Pro 5G

The Oppo Reno11 Pro 5G, one of the first new phones for 2024, looks set to lead that charge with its telephoto lens-equipped lineup, making studio-level photography more accessible for everyone, at an affordable price. This is thanks to its three-camera system comprising of a 50MP main camera (f/1.8 aperture lens + OIS 24mm focal length), 32MP telephoto portrait camera (f/1 aperture lens + 47mm focal length) and 8MP Ultra-wide angle camera (f/2.2 aperture lens + 112° FOV at 16mm focal length). Even the front camera is equipped with a 32MP selfie camera (f/2.4 aperture lens with 0.8x, 1x and 2x zoom).

Available in Pearl White (7.66mm thin) and Rock Grey (7.59mm thin), the Oppo Reno11 Pro 5G weighs just 181g, and uses a 3D curved glass with a satin finish that ensures its surface is smudge-free with a comfortable grip. Its large 6.7-inch, 2,412 x 1,080 pixel, curved OLED display runs silky smooth with 120Hz dynamic refresh rate, suitably powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset, which runs at 80% faster than previous models.

The Reno11 Pro 5G comes packed with a 4,600 mAh battery to keep things going from morning to night, and when coupled with Oppo’s 80W SUPERVOOC super-fast charger, offers a power boost of 24 per cent in 5 minutes, and a full charge in just 28 minutes.

The washed-out look of portrait photos is a thing of the past thanks to Oppo’s flagship algorithm, HyperTone Imaging Engine, pioneered for Find X6 Pro and Find N3 and further refined for the Reno11 Pro. By merging multiple uncompressed images in the RAW domain and applying AI-powered processing, the engine significantly enhances image clarity, dynamic range and colour richness.
