Apple Creator Studio is getting smarter, faster, and more connected, introducing new updates to a host of creative apps across the Apple ecosystem, such as Pixelmator Pro integration, improved intelligent tools in Final Cut Pro, and more accurate harmonic analysis in Logic Pro.

Headlining the updates are new integrations of Pixelmator Pro across apps like Final Cut Pro, Keynote, Pages, and Numbers. Final Cut Pro users can now send a chosen frame directly to Pixelmator Pro or create custom thumbnails or social media graphics without interrupting their flow. Users can now also generate vector shapes more efficiently to fit any project in Pixelmator Pro, Keynote, Pages, and Numbers, allowing them to refine their shapes as desired, and shapes are saved to a dedicated collection for use at a later time.

Final Cut Pro picks up its most requested AI features yet, such as Generate Captions, which automatically transcribes audio and places subtitles directly on timelines, with further options to animate its style or customise font, colour, and text position. The Edit Detection feature analyses rendered video and automatically splits it back into the original clips on the timeline, allowing for faster re-edits and repurposing, and Auto Mask provides a new way to isolate and refine footage using AI to identify subjects like hair and foliage without the need for manual tracking.

For Logic Pro users, the app on Mac and iPad has been updated to make music creation even more intelligent. Chord ID, for example, has been rebuilt to enhance harmonic analysis even while playing instruments that are slightly out of tune, while a new Producer Project reveals the complete Logic Pro session behind “Shoulda Never,” produced by Khris Riddick-Tynes. Finally, in Logic Pro and MainStage, a new granular sync mode in Alchemy opens new dimensions of sound design, with a new Granular Alchemy Sound Pack now available to complement this new mode with a curated collection of loops and presets.
Apple Creator Studio updates are now available for existing subscribers as a free update, or for S$17.98 per month or S$179 per year for new subscribers, with all new subscribers receiving a one-month free trial, while those who have purchased a new Mac or qualifying iPad will receive three months of Apple Creator Studio for free. More information on the Apple Creator Studio updates can be found on Apple Newsroom.
