Blokees Hatsune Miku Fantastics Series Sakura Miku Variant – Unboxing & Review

Chinese model kit and action figure company Blokees has been on a roll lately, expanding its long-running Transformers and Marvel figure lines with kits of famous icons like the EVA-01 from Neon Genesis Evangelion and, most recently, Vocaloid sensation Hatsune Miku in its newest Fantastics Series lineup, the latter of which has also received its latest addition, the Sakura Miku variant.

Built in the same scale as the Hatsune Miku Official Outfit Fantastics Series kit, Sakura Miku comes decked out in her pink module, with sakura flowers adorning her tie, her bangs and twin ponytails. In terms of accessories, the kit comes with 12 interchangeable hands, three printed face plates, three blank face plates for water slides, a picnic basket, plates and food, including Onigiri, Dango and a sandwich, smartphones, a camera, and the kit’s main showpiece, a cherry blossom branch that Miku can sit on.

Compared to its predecessor, Sakura Miku does feature way more accessories to go along with the base model, although, except for the branches, they are much smaller than those seen in the Original Outfit variant, like the keyboard, guitar and mic stand. Overall, the figure is a fantastic (no pun intended) addition to the lineup, and it will be interesting to see what Blokees comes up with next. Check out our detailed unboxing and review of the Sakura Miku in the video above.

The Blokees Fantastics Series Sakura Miku is now available via the Blokees website or other online retailers with prices starting at US$39.99.
