TGS 2016: Scenes from the Tokyo Game Show

This year’s Tokyo Game Show was a milestone in more ways than one. It’s the 20th Anniversary of the iconic video game show, and my first one ever. It featured a record-breaking 614 exhibitors, of which 345 were foreign companies. Across the 4 days from 15 to 18 Sep,  the show hit a record high of 271,224 visitors. There was a whopping 1,523 game titles on display this year, of which VR (Virtual Reality) titles took up 110. With the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift already released earlier this year, and Sony launching its long awaited PlayStation VR next month, it looks like 2016 is the true start of the VR revolution.

Here are some scenes from the show floor from across the two business days (15 and 16 September), from the impressive game booths, to the delicious booth babes. While you’re at it, don’t forget to also check out our TGS 2016 coverage here.
