With season one of the Fallout Amazon Prime Video series ending on a very high note, the showrunners are already working “as fast as humanly possible” to get season 2 out, Fallout 76 is keeping the hype train going with plenty of content updates for current and new fans to look forward to. Years of continuous nuclear bombardment have taken its toll on Fallout 76‘s brave adventurers soon players on have the option to play as a Ghoul in early 2025. This is the first time ever in any Fallout game where players can play as a Ghoul.
The ability to play as a Ghoul unlocks at level 50 in which the player is presented with a quest to begin a mysterious process should they choose to become a ghoul. Innate abilities such as unique benefits to radiation and dozens of ghoul-specific perk cards to use. As expected, players who play as ghouls could lead them in some trouble with some factions.
But before that, Fallout 76 is expanding southward to Skyline Valley, a brand-new region of Appalachia, and its first-ever map expansion. Players will get to investigate the cause of the electric storm circling overhead and unveil the mystery around Vault 63 and its dwellers, including a shocking new Ghoul type known as The Lost. The free Skyline Valley expansion will be released for Fallout 76 on 12 June 2024.
