Wonder Woman 1984 Delayed Yet Again From October To Christmas

It seems like after much speculation, it’s now confirmed that the Wonder Woman 1984 release will be delayed to Christmas.

The move has been in Warner Bros.‘ cards for some time based on Tenet‘s performance. The studios made a gamble when they released the Christopher Nolan movie amidst the ongoing pandemic. And the film has been seeing lukewarm returns which shows that audiences in the U.S. are still reluctant to return to cinemas.

However, the shift hasn’t blindsided theatres too much as the Patty-Jenkins directed movie faced multiple delays before. The shift will place the movie’s opening after another highly anticipated Warner Bros. feature, Dune. According to DEADLINE, Dune is still slated to open on 18 December. (But we think that may shift to next year.)

And even thoughWonder Woman 1984 is delayed to Christmas, at least we will know what to do during the holidays now. As for Singapore, it seems like the opening date is still set for 1 October 2020 for now.
