‘Wave Race 64’ Lives On As ‘Riptide GP: Renegade+’ Lands On Apple Arcade

For users on the iOS platform, the arrival and sustained support for Apple Arcade has allowed many to try out all sorts of different games. Something cool that is on its way to Apple Arcade is the upcoming Riptide GP: Renegade+, a racing title coming via Vector Unit.

Players step into the role of a hydrojet rider, framed and cast out from the Riptide GP league, forced to race illegally through city waterways, flooded ruins, and churning factory machinery in an effort to reclaim their reputation and their title. Play through the single-player career to unlock new vehicles, playable characters, and customization features as you take down bosses and build your crew.

The deep career mode in Riptide GP: Renegade+ will introduce a variety of races and boss fights as you climb the ranks of the underground hydro jet racing circuit. Earn cash and experience to upgrade and customise your hydro jet, unlock new stunts, and increase your rider’s performance.

Once you think you are ready for more in Riptide GP: Renegade+, jump into online multiplayer for the ultimate test as you battle opponents around the world in 8-player online matches, or challenge your friends for leaderboard supremacy in the ghost-racing challenge mode.

While Riptide GP: Renegade+ may be a mobile title, it brings some stellar graphics into the mix with its state-of-the-art water racing. Experience breathtaking water physics, spray effects, and more, with every race being different because the surface you race on is always changing. With Game Center and iCloud support, you can even enjoy the action across the variety of iOS devices you own.
