‘Warcraft’ Mobile Game Set To Unveil In May 2022

Diablo Immortal isn’t the only mobile game that Blizzard has in its pipeline. There is a Warcraft mobile game in the horizon too. However, given the wide variety of games and genres that tap into the Warcraft lore, such as Hearthstone, World of Warcraft, and the classic Warcraft real-time strategy series, it is hard to predict just what kind of mobile game it will be.

Blizzard has been keeping a tight lip when it comes to this project as well, but a tweet from Hearthstone’s official Twitter page announced a reveal date for this upcoming mobile game. Of course, the tweet itself barely gives anything away, save for a possible logo, of a lightning bolt in front of a gearwheel.

Given that it is a mobile game, it is unlikely to be a remake of the real-time strategy titles, or a port of the MMORPG, due to the unique control scheme of a mobile touchscreen. Thus, the project is one that’s rather unpredictable in nature.

On 3 May 2022, Blizzard will be revealing what the Warcraft mobile game will be through a livestream. While it is unclear what the game genre will be, this is definitely one for fans of the Warcraft franchise to keep a lookout for.
