Uniqlo x Monster Hunter Rise Collection Transforms Creatures Into Cute Shirt Designs

Monster hunting is getting a cuter sheen on the shirts of Uniqlo‘s upcoming collaboration with Monster Hunter Rise, which will feature various elements and iconography from the game. This time, the ever-adorable Palico and the “goodest doggo” Palamute are the stars of the collection, both receiving a dedicated themed design to call their own.

A total of 10 variations are up for grabs, with six available in men’s sizes, and the other four in kid’s sizes. Where some of the t-shirts have a more subtle touch to them, a minority handful are rather obvious in highlighting the Monster Hunter branding, such as the black shirt that depicts flagship monster Magnamalo in the game’s traditional art style.

The Uniqlo x Monster Hunter Rise collection is set to land on Japan in June 2021, but there’s been no word on pricing details and international release so far. Given how both the official Japanese and English Twitter accounts announced the tie-up, however, it’s safe to assume that the t-shirts will be heading to other regions as well. A closer look at the designs can be viewed below:

2021 is a good year for Monster Hunter fans. Apart from the launch of Monster Hunter Rise on 26 March for the Nintendo Switch (with the second demo available now), there’s also Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin to enjoy in July. Tabletop enthusiasts, meanwhile, can forward to the Monster Hunter World: The Board Game drop sometime in the near future.
