9th May 2016 is an extremely special day for all geeks, for not only is Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End being launched officially at midnight, it is also the last official game launch at good old Funan before it shutters for a revamp.
Packed with PlayStation fans young and old, the excitement and hype for one of PlayStation’s marquee franchises was palpable. Sony and Naughty Dog have gone all out in the supposed last hurrah for Nathan Drake and company.
Game stations for Drake’s Fortune, Among Thieves and Drake’s Deception were set up for fans to relive some of the best moments of the franchise (Young Drake ftw!). Getting a chance to warm up just before the finale? Good idea!
The highlight of the event, barring getting the game itself, would be an Uncharted inspired obstacle course. Comprising of a gauntlet of rope swinging, upside-down climbing and climaxing with a steep inclined ramp to scale, the fan with the best timing walks home with a spanking new Uncharted 4 PS4 bundle!
With Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End set to be the last adventure of the acclaimed series from Naughty Dog, PlayStation gamers are rightfully excited and so were we during our review.
Uncharted 4 is now available worldwide, so go get your copies today!
