It’s the new year and time to unbox our first collectible, #64 of 350 limited edition Indominus Rex Bust by Doctor Collector. Measuring 28cm tall and weighing almost 5kg, the Indominus Rex Bust is a highly detailed sculpture made out of Polyresin, with the Indominus Rex peeking out of the iconic Jurassic World gate, decorated with translucent flames, complete with a blue “Opening Weekend” banner. The bust’s design is very reminiscent of a life-size wall sculpture of the Alien Xenomorph Queen we reviewed back in 2019.
“The Indominus wasn’t bred, she was designed. She will be fifty feet long when fully grown… bigger than the T-Rex”. The Indominus Rex, as seen in Jurassic World (2015) represents a groundbreaking hybrid, blending the genetic characteristics of various species with the fundamental T-Rex genome.
