Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands Crossplay Support Brings Mayhem To PlayStation, Xbox, And PC

Gearbox Software‘s Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is a spin-off of the Borderlands series that’s going to be released on 25 March 2022. This is a game that fans have been looking forward to, considering that Borderlands 3 came out in 2019, and it has been three years since the series’ irreverent humour and absurd universe has been expanded. And now, we know for sure that Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands will support crossplay.

Unlike its predecessor, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands will support crossplay on all platforms, according to a tweet by Gearbox Software’s CEO Randy Pitchford, which includes PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. This is an improvement over Borderlands 3 which excluded PlayStation consoles from its cross-play feature.

The co-op shooter game takes inspiration from Dungeons & Dragons campaigns, making multiplayer much more integral to the entire gameplay experience. As such, allowing cross-play on all platforms speaks to that multiplayer focus, since now more players get into games together.

Based on our preview of the game, it’s clear that the game is faithful to the themes and style of the franchise while giving fans more of what they love about Borderlands, so you know exactly what you are going to get.

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands will be released on 25 March 2022, and friends will get to enjoy the game together even if they are on different sides of the next-gen console war.
