Three Elderly Sisters Have Clocked Over 1,500 Hours On ‘Animal Crossing’ With Handwritten Notes

If anyone tells you that Animal Crossing is a game only for children, get them to read this post by twitter user, TFJ Polar Bear (a_dungeon).

This tweet marks the first year of the 77-year old mother’s experience with the game, who had been so pleased that she introduced it to her sisters, aged 80 and 72. “The three of us are playing on each other’s islands every day. A happy old age,” expressed the elderly figure as part of the post.

The sentiment has touched many, with admiration soon following with the revelation that revealed that the trio had clocked in 1,500 hours of gameplay with 20 pages of handwritten notes dedicated to the journey.

The user tweeted that their mother wrote pointers such as, “What to harvest and how to process it for profit, how to breed flowers, and how to make money by buying and selling turnips.” These strategies learned from a year of gameplay were filed by hand to form their mother’s very own guide book, which is a very impressive feat in itself.

The tweet has 5.3 million views and 90.4 thousand likes to date, with many hoping to see more updates on the trio’s journey. Stay wholesome, queens!
