The annual affair that is E3 2022 may be cancelled, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be any gaming action to look forward to. In its place is a series of gaming showcases from different publishers and studios, which promise plenty of launches and trailer premieres in store.

While the notable absences of AAA showcases like Nintendo Direct, EA Play Live, and Ubisoft Forward might make this traditional E3 2022 period more low-key than its previous iterations, the bigger boys can be counted on to generate excitement and hype. Summer Games Fest, for instance, will feature over 30 industry names, including 2K, Bandai Namco, Capcom, Epic Games, and more, so there shouldn’t be any shortage of game announcements, updates, and new trailer reveals.
